The pastor of Bethel Baptist Church in Owasso Oklahoma a church that 12 years ago was pastored by my father Andrew J OKelley. In a terrible scandal ( My father had entered in a relationship with another woman ((adulterous)) ) My father resigned and was cut off from the church. Sad but true. But now 12 years later the Church has disipated into a fractious disharmonious chaos. On Wednesday August 18th in the midweek church service the 5 elders of the church announced that they were asking the pastor to resign or be fired and since he had indicated that they would have to fire him..... They had a troop of police their to escort him out of the church to the astonishment and outrage of much of the rest of the church. The police attempted to escort him out the door and members a many protested, and the police were forced to release him. So every thing is in an uproar and many are believing that a split is in the offing.
